It's Rachel, just finding my feet on this blog really.

I've been researching my 3 given areas: trams, fashion and parks.

I've been looking through catalogues at the fashion. Kays Catalogues have been good for exploring page layouts, symbols and uses of materials. I looked at autumn/winter and spring/summer catalogues to explore differences between each, but didn't find much of use (they were both pretty similar).

For the trams, I've been looking at those in Blackpool and Nottingham. Blackpool's great for the history of trams, and they have a wide range of trams of different ages and shapes, unlike Nottingham. I've collected images of structures, maps, wires, tracks etc, I feel that they would be good for exploring pattern and line quality.

I hope to gather some photos of parks, symbols, playground equipment etc later before I meet you guys. Hopefully later, we'll decide on a final project. Then we can recommend links, books and places to visit.
